Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)

A Gas Safety Certificate — officially called a CP12 — is a legal requirement for all landlords in England, Scotland and Wales. It must be renewed every 12 months and a copy provided to tenants within 28 days of the inspection.

EICR Electrical Inspection

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a detailed assessment of the safety of the electrical installation in a property. Since 1 June 2020, landlords must have an EICR carried out every 5 years — failure to comply can result in a fine of up to £30,000.

Our NICEIC-approved electricians test the consumer unit (fuse board), wiring, sockets, light fittings and earthing arrangements to the current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
