A standard gas safety inspection (CP12) takes approximately 30–60 minutes depending on the number of gas appliances. Our engineer will inspect your boiler, gas hob, fire and any other gas appliances, plus the pipework and flues.
Yes. Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, all private landlords must have gas appliances and flues checked annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Failure to do so can result in a fine or imprisonment.
Since June 2020, landlords in England must have an Electrical Installation Condition Report carried out every 5 years (or at change of tenancy if sooner). For owner-occupiers, it is recommended every 10 years or when you move into a property.
